Adaptable traction for roofing work.

I have found these to be pretty okay on wet surfaces, but not something to be relied on. Of real importance is pollen season, and if you have pollen buildup on your roofs, these will not perform at all. Something to be aware of if you've been enjoying good grip previously. Also, make sure you have removed the foam if you are going to store them for a while. The foam breaks down over time and can't be removed after a bit, making the whole overshoe useless. This is a neat idea, but not at all a replacement for tie-off systems.
So far the only footwear I can safely use on a soapy wet metal roof. Being a painting contractor, safety is essential while washing or painting. Only problem is they do fall apart quickly. You need to have several pair on hand.
These hold great! Even hold well when soapy while washing the roof. But roof screws eat them to pieces very quickly. After naively ruining my first pair in hours, with care I can get a couple of days out of them.
